Common use of Part-Time LPNs Clause in Contracts

Part-Time LPNs. LPNs who have completed their probationary period and are regularly scheduled to work less than forty (40) hours per week or eighty (80) hours per two week period. Part-time LPNs shall be compensated in the same manner as full-time LPNs, except that pay and benefits shall be prorated in proportion to the hours which they work. In lieu of all benefits provided for in this Agreement, a part-time LPN may elect a fifteen percent (15%) wage differential to be effective upon completion of the probationary period. Selection must occur within the first ten (10) days of employment or within thirty (30) days of the signing of this Agreement, whichever is later. Thereafter, no change in benefit compensation shall be granted during the term of this Agreement.
