Pay and Benefits An employee involved in a return to work program will receive pay and benefits as set out below. Employees participating in a return to work program for fifteen (15) hours or more per week are entitled to all the benefits of the agreement, on a proportionate basis, except for medical, extended health and dental plan coverage, which shall be paid in accordance with Article 38. Wage entitlement, when participating in the program, will be consistent with the terms of the agreement and are outlined below:
Part-Time Benefits A part-time employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or in part by the hospitals, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call-in pay, responsibility pay, jury and witness duty, bereavement leave, and pregnancy and parental supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid. For part-time employees who are members of the Hospital's pension plan the percentage in lieu of fringe benefits is twelve percent (12%).
PAY, HOURS AND BENEFITS III.A. WAGES
Wages and Benefits Wages, performance sharing opportunities and benefits as identified in this Section 2 are considered to be ongoing obligations and will terminate at the extended expiration of local agreements, rather than at the expiration of this Agreement.

Layoff Benefits 1. When reduction of staff is necessary, all requested leaves of absence for any reasonable purpose shall be granted by the Board.
Sick Benefits 15.01 Eligible employees will receive Short Term Disability Benefits in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the STD Plan Text, a copy of which has been supplied to the Union. The STD plan forms part of this Collective Agreement.
