PARTIAL OR TOTAL PLANT CLOSURE. 29.01 FTG will endeavor to advise the Union at least six (6) months in advance of any contemplated shutdown of operations that will affect the employees, or as soon as it becomes aware of this circumstance. Such notice shall be in writing and indicate the reason for the action. The Union and FTG will meet immediately to discuss the contemplated shutdown with a view to providing a solution to the problem or jobs for the employees involved.
