PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS (In 2011, the Florida Legislature passed statutory changes eliminating the granting of new Professional Service Contracts and prohibiting the School Board from following the requirements outlined in Sections 14.1, 14.1-1, 14.1-2, and 14.1-3 of the contract below. These provisions are therefore placed in abeyance until all legal challenges have been resolved. All other Sections beginning with 14.2 remain in full force and effect.)
NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION(S) A university or other institution of higher education or an organization of the type described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (26 U.S.C. 501(c)) and exempt from taxation under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code (26 U.S.C. 501(a)) or any nonprofit scientific or educational organization qualified under a state nonprofit organization statute. As used herein, the term also includes government agencies.
RESIDENCY RIGHTS NEITHER SHARABLE NOR TRANSFERABLE BY RESIDENTS Residence accommodations, including bedroom space, shared common areas (such as living rooms and bathrooms) and shared community facilities (such as floor community rooms and laundries) may only be occupied by the resident to whom the room is assigned. Residence accommodations shall not be shared with any other individual not officially assigned to that residence by UCF DHRL, and may not be sublet, assigned, or in any way transferred by the Student.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS A. All teachers shall be given written notice not later than June 30 of their tentative subject and/or assignment for the succeeding school year. In the event that changes in such schedule are proposed, all teachers affected shall be notified promptly. Upon request, the teacher shall have the opportunity to discuss such changes with the administrator prior to its implementation. Such request must be made prior to the first day of school for students.

All staff for the Program shall be employed by the NWESD and subject to the policies and rules and regulations of the NWESD, including regulations pertaining to RCW 28A.400.303, RCW 28A.400.322 and RCW 28A.400.330, and teacher certification as required by the State of Washington.
