Passenger Information Subway LCD Hardware. (a) 24 hours per day, seven days per week, Contractor shall monitor the Subway LCD hardware to ensure that the display is functioning correctly. SFMTA shall be able to test this monitoring periodically to verify accuracy of monitoring and reporting of faults. If the monitoring system is determined to be unreliable, NextBus shall propose how to improve monitoring systems within 10 business days. If the parties agree, the number of physical inspections of LCD signs may be reduced as Contractor develops automatic remote monitoring systems to detect inoperable or defective LCD signs and hardware. Contractor shall enter and track repair of non-functioning or defective LCD signs and hardware will in the Daily Repair Log.
