PATIENT PROTECTION AND AFFORDABLE CARE ACT /HEALTH CARE REFORM ACT OF 2010. The City shall comply with all provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act/Health Care Reform Act of 2010 as they apply to both active employees and retirees, and as such health insurance plans are subject to change in order to remain in compliance with same and avoid penalties and subsidies. The City reserves the right to maintain or institute cost containment measures relative to insurance coverage in order to remain in compliance with Health Care Reform, and the employer OR the Union may reopen the contract to address Health Care Reform issues only.
