Common use of Patient Retrieval Requests Clause in Contracts

Patient Retrieval Requests. For Data Storage Customers, a Patient Retrieval Request is defined as a request received by Vocera in writing, regardless of the source, for data relating to an individual patient following a Vocera Ease Encounter and limited to a seven-day search range. By way of example, a request for Xxxx Xxxxx’x media from a 1-day surgery with a 2- day recovery stay at a facility would constitute one (1) Patient Data Retrieval, while a request to include data relating to a follow-up surgery performed on the same patient ten days after the initial surgery would constitute two (2) Patient Data Retrievals. End User shall pay an additional fee per request for each Patient Retrieval Requests beyond the amount purchased on the Quote. Vocera will supply End User with the requested data within two business days of Vocera’s receipt of such request, in a secure, mutually agreed upon format. If the underlying Vocera Ease Subscription Service renews automatically then the number of Patient Retrieval Requests purchased will also automatically renew.
