Pavement Patching. Pavement Patching is to include milling and disposal of defective roadway material, placing and compacting of new patch material and will be measured by the square yard basis at a four inch (4”) depth. New hot mix material used in the Pavement Patching will be measured by the ton. Delivery of the new hot mix material will be paid for under the applicable Hauling of Hot Mix Material pay item. Pavement Patching. A.) For failed Pavement - If the need should arise, and ONLY AT THE DIRECTION OF THE SUPERINTENDENT, to patch a section of the existing pavement that has “failed” the following shall apply: The total depth requirement for patching flexible pavement, as described in the Standard Specification Section 304.04, is hereby amended to be SIX (6) inches. The material under the patch is expected to be in a compacted condition in accordance with said Specification 304.04.
Pavement Patching. Paving shall not proceed until deficient base material areas and utility trenches have been corrected and are ready to receive paving. Paving shall not be applied until the Engineer inspects and approves the finished base.

  • Staging In addition to the staging categories listed in paragraph 1 of Annex 2-A, this Schedule contains staging categories 15-A, PR-8, PR-15, PR-35 and PR-50:
