Pay for Acting Officers. Personnel serving as acting officers in a higher classification for a minimum of four (4) consecutive hours will be paid at the step within the higher classification range that represents at least a three percent (3%) increase over their regular rate of pay. After one (1) pay period assigned as an acting officer, the assigned employee shall be compensated for all hours paid at the pay rate of the higher classification for the duration of the acting assignment.

Effective July 1, 2013, personnel serving as acting officers in a higher classification for a minimum of four (4) consecutive hours will be paid at the step within the higher classification range that represents at least a three percent (3%) increase over his/her regular rate of pay.
