Common use of Pay for Working on the Holiday Clause in Contracts

Pay for Working on the Holiday. If any employee works one of the above holidays, the employee shall receive payment at time and one-half (1 1/2) the employee’s straight-time rate for all hours worked on such holiday. Exceptions are:

Pay for Working on the Holiday. If Where an employee is required to work on any employee works one of the above abovenamed holidays, the Home shall pay the employee shall receive payment at time for each hour worked, a premium of not less than one and one-half times (1 1/21½x) the employee’s straight-time rate 's regular rate, and if the employee qualifies for all hours worked on such holiday. Exceptions are:holiday pay as set out in subsection (b) below, the employee's regular wages for the holiday in addition thereto.
