Pay Grade Changes. A full-time member of the bargaining unit may make a request in writing to the Chief Human Resources Officer that his/her Pay Grade assignment be re-evaluated. If the Chief Human Resources Officer determines that a position will be moved to a higher Pay Grade, the bargaining unit member will receive a minimum five percent (5%) salary increase for each Pay Grade move upward. If it is determined that a movement within grade is to be made, the Chief Human Resources Officer will recommend a base salary adjustment ranging from one percent (1%) to five percent (5%).
