Common use of Payment of Dues Deduction Clause in Contracts

Payment of Dues Deduction. The Union agrees to save the Employer harmless in the event of any legal controversy with regard to application of this provision. The Union shall indemnify and hold harmless the Employer from and against any liability incurred to any third parties and any and all claims, suits, orders, or judgments brought against the Employer that arise from the dues deduction authorization form and the deduction of membership dues. All dues collected shall be paid by the Employer once each month to the Union. No fees will be charged for this deduction.
