Common use of PCU Clause in Contracts

PCU. (a) The Recipient shall maintain within the MINEDUB the PCU, in a form and with functions and resources satisfactory to the Association, and with the following staff with qualifications and experience acceptable to the Association: a project coordinator, a technical coordinator, a financial management specialist, an accountant and a procurement specialist. (b) The PCU shall be responsible for technical coordination, operational and environmental monitoring of Project activities and management of implementation, procurement, financial and environmental management of Project operations including supervising the implementation of Subprojects. (c) The PCU shall maintain a financial and accounting system, satisfactory to the Association, for the Project.
