At a minimum, the program shall include the following requirements:: • Principal involvement in selection of a peer assistant and in the peer assistance process; • Teacher discretion to participate in program; • Program will operate outside of the formal evaluation process; • Program will not interfere with principal’s evaluation process; • Neither the teacher, nor the district, shall use the peer assistant as an expert witness in any grievance or court proceeding.
