Grading Days Sample Clauses

Grading Days. For personnel at secondary school sites, the last regular day of duty shall be reserved as a grading day. For personnel at elementary school sites, the next to last regular day of duty and one-half of the final regular day of duty shall be reserved as grading days. The final grading days for elementary and secondary personnel shall be noted on the adopted school calendar.
Grading Days. A. The calendar will include one grading day per reporting period, directly following the last student day for the reporting period. Grades will be due at 8:00 AM on the contract day following the grading day, or upon checkout on the last work day. On a grading day, members will not have any assigned duties or meetings. The last student contact day of the school year, after students' early release, shall be reserved for member work time with no more than one hour of meetings. B. Bargaining unit members may choose to work from home on teacher grading days provided that they “sign outprior to working remotely and provides a telephone number for immediate contact during the contracted work hours. Bargaining unit members working remotely must comply with the deadlines established by the building principal for grade entry. Failure to turn in grades in a timely fashion or respond to telephone calls from the school during working hours may result in a loss of the work remotely privilege for the bargaining unit member for the rest of the academic year.
Grading Days. Grading days and grading time shall be educator directed time for licensed staff responsible for issuing student grades/progress reports. This work may be completed remotely at the discretion of the educator and with prior approval of their supervisor. All other licensed staff may be required to attend up to two hours of meetings, professional development, or other tasks as directed by their supervisor. This is not permitted on half-day grading days. In emergency situations, if school based licensed staff are required to attend to other tasks that are not educator directed, they will be compensated hourly based on their per diem rate. 1. Grading DaysFor schools using a quarter system, the District shall provide three (3) full days of grading time for teachers, one each at the end of first, second, and third quarters, and an early out day at the end of the fourth quarter. For schools using a trimester system, the District shall provide two (2) full days of grading time for teachers, one each at the end of the first and second trimesters, and an early out day at the end of the third trimester. Building Administrators may not call or schedule meetings on these “grading days.”
Grading Days. One at the end of the first, second and third terms to be used for grading, planning and uninterrupted work time in the classroom and no more than one hour for district directed activities on any one grading day. Grades will be due by 3:30 PM on grading day. However, teachers may make arrangements with the principal to have grades completed and entered into the computer by 8:00 AM the following school day.

  • Business Days If any time period for giving notice or taking action hereunder expires on a day which is a Saturday, Sunday or holiday in the state in which the Company’s chief executive office is located, the time period shall be automatically extended to the business day immediately following such Saturday, Sunday or holiday.

  • TIME OF COMPLETION The Owner shall issue a Notice to Proceed identifying the date for commencement of the Work. The commencement date shall be 10 or more days after the date the notice is issued.   • Working Days Without prejudice to clause 9.1, where the Authority funds the delivery of this Contract using European Social Fund (ESF) funds or in its role as a Co-financing Organisation uses this contract as a match for ESF provision, either at the outset of the contract or at any point during the life of the contract, the Contractor and any Sub-contractors appointed by it shall be bound by the corresponding additional requirements detailed within relevant Contractor Guidance, including the maintaining of records until at least 31 December 2023.

  • Snow Days ‌ If an employee after good faith efforts is unable to report to work for their scheduled duty period because of weather conditions, and if a disaster due to weather is declared by the governor or the Grand Traverse County Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, the employee at the employee's option may take a day's leave without pay or work on a pass day to make up the loss day, or may utilize an accumulated sick leave day or vacation day.

  • Days Unless specified otherwise, any period of days mandated under a Note or this Revenue Sharing Agreement shall be determined by reference to calendar days, not business days, except that any payments, notices, or other performance falling due on a Saturday, Sunday, or federal government holiday shall be considered timely if paid, given, or performed on the next succeeding business day.

A foreign citizen/foreign company may be allowed to bid for the property and if the bid is successful, the sale is subject to the foreign citizen/company applying and obtaining at his/her/its own cost to the Economic Planning Unit (if applicable) and/or relevant State Authority for the unconditional consent to the sale within the period stated in Clause 11 hereof but subject to Clause 22 hereof.

  • Number of Hours enter the total number of hours worked during the report period by the Employees in the employment category. Amount Payable under the Contract: enter the total amount paid by the State to the State Contractor under the Contract, for work by the Employees in the employment category, for services provided during the report period.

  • Banking Days Unless otherwise provided in this Agreement, a banking day is a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or other day on which commercial banks are authorized to close, or are in fact closed, in the state where the Bank’s lending office is located, and, if such day relates to amounts bearing interest at an offshore rate (if any), means any such day on which dealings in dollar deposits are conducted among banks in the offshore dollar interbank market. All payments and disbursements which would be due on a day which is not a banking day will be due on the next banking day.   • Evaluation Period Until 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on August 16, 2002 (the "Evaluation Period"), Purchaser and its authorized agents and representatives (for purposes of this Article V, the "Licensee Parties") shall have the right, subject to the right of any Tenants, to enter upon the Real Property at all reasonable times during normal business hours to perform an inspection of the Real Property, the Improvements and the Personal Property. Purchaser will provide to Seller notice (for purposes of this Section 5.1(a), an "Entry Notice") of the intention of Purchaser or the other Licensee Parties to enter the Real Property at least 24 hours prior to such intended entry and specify the intended purpose therefor and the inspections and examinations contemplated to be made and with whom any Licensee Party will communicate. At Seller's option, Seller may be present for any such entry and inspection. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, no so-called Phase II environmental physical testing or sampling shall be conducted during any such entry by Purchaser or any Licensee Party upon the Real Property without Seller's specific prior written consent, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld or unduly delayed. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE with respect to the provisions of this Section 5.1.
