Common use of Peer Evaluations Clause in Contracts

Peer Evaluations. a. Peer evaluations shall be conducted by a faculty member from the candidate’s department, chosen by the faculty member with the approval of the chairperson. The faculty member to be evaluated and the faculty member to do the evaluation shall agree upon a time for the evaluation. Within one week of the evaluation, the evaluator shall submit a written report to the faculty member evaluated and the Department Chairperson. If the faculty member evaluated wishes, s/he may append a written response to the report before placing it in his/her record file.
