Research and Development (i) Advice and assistance in relation to research and development of Party B;
Training and Development 3.1 Authorities will develop local 'Workforce Development Plans (see Part 4.8),' closely linked to their service delivery plans, which will provide the focus for the establishment of training and development priorities. Training and development should be designed to meet the corporate and service needs of authorities both current and in the future, taking into account the individual needs of employees. Local schemes on training and development should enable authorities to attain their strategic objectives through development of their employees. Training and development provisions should be shaped to local requirements and take account of the full range of learning methods. Such an approach should enable access to learning for all employees. The needs of part time employees and shift workers need particular consideration.
Implementation of Strategic Plan Goals The Countywide Strategic Plan directs the provision of Community and Municipal Services (Goal 3) by providing enhanced services to all customers in land development and building permitting functions while protecting the interests of County residents in communities where developments occur. FISCAL IMPACT/FINANCING There will be no impact to the County's General Fund as a result of the execution of the Agreement and accepting of the lien by the County.
Modification to Performance Frameworks The Parties acknowledge that specific terms, forms, and requirements of the Performance Frameworks may be modified to the extent required to align with changes to applicable State or federal accountability requirements as set forth in law or policies or based on other circumstances that make assessment based on the existing Performance Framework requirements impracticable. In the event that such modifications are needed, the Commission will make its best effort to apply expectations for school performance in a manner as reasonably consistent with those set forth in the Performance Frameworks and the School's Educational Program as set forth in Exhibit A to this Contract.
