Common use of Period Covered Clause in Contracts

Period Covered. This Agreement shall become effective at the start of the first shift beginning after 12:01 a.m., September 1, 2024 with wage rates effective as set forth in Appendix “A” of this Agreement and remain in full force and effect through the completion of the last shift beginning prior to 12:00 a.m., midnight, August 28, 2027. This Agreement shall automatically be renewed thereafter from year to year unless either Party notifies the other in writing at least one hundred and twenty days (120) days prior to its expiration date of desire to modify or terminate it, in which event negotiations will be undertaken within thirty (30) days.
