Common use of Permanent Promotions Clause in Contracts

Permanent Promotions. a) An employee who is promoted from one salary group to another will receive an increase of 5% for each salary group of promotion after first determining a pro rata adjustment to their old salary based on the accrued time since the last length of service increase. No employee, subsequent to the application of this promotion formula, will receive less than the minimum or more than the maximum of the new range. Thereafter, progression along the salary scale will be at 12 month intervals.
