PERS HEALTH BENEFITS PROGRAM. Effective January 1, 1986, the City shall contract with the Public Employees Retirement System for the provision of health insurance benefits for eligible affected employees. The PERS Health Benefits Program shall be a component of a Flex Benefits program established by a health insurance committee composed of representatives from each of the four employee organizations and management.
