Personal Equipment. City shall replace, with the Director of Public Safety's approval and up to the amount specified in Department of Public Safety policy, any personal equipment lost, destroyed or damaged beyond repair while used in the line of duty. Items shall not be replaced if worn because of normal wear and tear.
