Common use of Personal Property Reimbursement Clause in Contracts

Personal Property Reimbursement. Employees shall, in proper cases, be reimbursed for the repair or replacement of personal property lost, stolen or damaged in the line of duty without fault of the employee. The amount of reimbursement for articles of clothing shall be the depreciated value based on the age and condition of the article. The amount of reimbursement for other personal property covered by this provision shall be the replacement value but not to exceed two hundred ($200) dollars per item. An employee who elects to use personal property items in lieu of equipment furnished by the Department shall be reimbursed for such property if it is lost, stolen or damaged in the line of duty, without fault of the employee, for the replacement value, not to exceed the cost of similar equipment furnished by the County.
