Common use of Physical Change Clause in Contracts

Physical Change. (a) Forest Service shall adjust the Specified Road construction cost if, prior to acceptance under GT.3.6, a physical change, caused by a single event and not due to negligence of Contractor, re- sults in an increase or decrease in work and/or materials furnished by Contractor involving additional estimated cost of: (i) More than $10,000 or (ii) More than 10 percent of total Specified Road construction cost, whichever is less.
