Physician Services Committee Composition. (a) The Physician Services Committee shall continue as the senior body overseeing the relationship between the Government and the Doctors of BC, and the implementation and administration of this Agreement and the Physician Master Subsidiary Agreements. (b) The Physician Services Committee will be composed of six members, three of whom will be appointed by the Government and three of whom will be appointed by the Doctors of BC, or such greater, equal number of members as agreed to by the parties and will also include the Chair of the Medical Services Commission as a non-voting member. The members appointed by the Government will consist of at least one Senior Executive from the Ministry of Health (Assistant Deputy Minister of Health or above) and at least one Senior Executive from a Health Authority (Vice-President or above). The members appointed by the Doctors of BC will include the Chief Executive Officer of the Doctors of BC. (c) The Government and the Doctors of BC will each name one of their respective appointees to act as co-chair of the Physician Services Committee, and the chair will alternate for successive meetings.
