Plant Coding and Labelling i. Familiarization with the standards and concepts of the AKZ system as applied by the Employer is required. A list of all AKZ codes used in accordance with standard documentation needs to be supplied.

Plant Coding and Labelling. Labelling is the responsibility of the Contractor and is done by the Contractor in accordance with the Employer’s standard Eskom Standard 240-71432150 [Plant Labelling and Equipment Description Standard].  Plant codification is done in accordance with the KKS-system as used at Drakensberg Power Station. The Employer in conjunction with the Contractor does the codification.  The Employer only supplies codification numbers to the Contractor where-after the Contractor ensures that the labelling is done.  The Contractor ensures that the KKS codes are applied in a uniform and consistent way and that all codes allocated are unique.  The Contractor is responsible to supply identification labels to Provide the Works.  The Contractor ensures that all plant, materials, component and documentation to supply the works is codified correctly.  The Contractor uses all levels of the coding system to ensure clear identity of signals on the control and indicating equipment. As a minimum, 17 characters are used in the KKS code to uniquely identify each detector signal.

  • Labelling The distributor, on behalf of the selected vendor agrees that all supplies of articles should invariably contain the following information on its label and the carton. One information should not be overlapped by any other information needed to be furnished. The label should contain :

  • Quality Management System Supplier hereby undertakes, warrants and confirms, and will ensue same for its subcontractors, to remain certified in accordance with ISO 9001 standard or equivalent. At any time during the term of this Agreement, the Supplier shall, if so instructed by ISR, provide evidence of such certifications. In any event, Supplier must notify ISR, in writing, in the event said certification is suspended and/or canceled and/or not continued.
