Policy Guidelines. The normal instructional activity for a full-time faculty member shall range from 50% to 80% of the average workweek. Departments will determine the portion of instructional time devoted to undergraduate and graduate instruction. (Here and elsewhere, the term "department" shall be understood to include program units in colleges without academic departments.
