Common use of Political Service Leave Clause in Contracts

Political Service Leave. Employees elected to full-time political office at the municipal, provincial, or federal level shall be entitled to leave without pay. Employees must return to the University and resume duties at the end of one term of office unless special circumstances require and the Employer agrees to extend the leave beyond such term.
