Polygraph Examinations. Command officers may only be ordered to take a polygraph examination by the Chief of Police. The order to take the examination may not be unjust and arbitrary. In any arbitration or Civil Service hearing, relevant evidence that consists of the results of a polygraph examination which has been lawfully carried out by an accredited examiner may be excluded only if determined that the order was unjust and arbitrary.
