Common use of Positions Designated Bilingual Clause in Contracts

Positions Designated Bilingual. Upon the recommendation of the Sheriff and the approval of the Director of Human Resource Services, a person occupying a position designated as requiring fluency in a language other than English shall receive an additional $40.00 per biweekly pay period.

Positions Designated Bilingual. Upon the recommendation of the Sheriff and the approval of the Director of Human Resource Services, a person occupying a position designated as requiring fluency in a language other than English shall receive an additional forty dollars ($40.00 40) per biweekly pay period. A person occupying such position having proficiency in three or more languages shall receive forty dollars ($40) per pay period provided that such person is required to utilize such additional languages in the course of his/her duties for the County.
