Postmortem Examinations. Fort Bend, by and through the FBCME, will perform Postmortem examinations as requested in Section IIA of this Agreement. In those cases where a complete autopsy is believed to be unnecessary by the Medical Examiner to ascertain the cause and manner of death, the FBCME will advise Requesting County of this finding and may perform an external examination of the body, which can include taking x-rays of the body and extracting bodily fluids, or tissues for laboratory analysis.
