Pre-Design Phase (PD). 2.2.1 The Professional shall meet with the Owner to ascertain the requirements of the Project. The approved Facilities Program shall serve as the basic planning document for the development of plans and specifications. 2.2.2 The Professional shall provide a preliminary evaluation of the Owner's Facilities Program, schedule and construction budget requirements, each in terms of the other, subject to the limitations set forth in Subparagraph 5.2.1. 2.2.3 After reviewing the Project requirements, the Professional shall advise the Owner of the tests and surveys described in Article 4 that should be conducted prior to development of plans and specifications. 2.2.4 The Professional shall review with the Owner alternative approaches to design and construction of the Project. 2.2.5 When the Professional makes submittals to the Owner or others as described in this Article 2, the Professional shall comply with the requirements for such submittals set forth on Exhibit E.
