Pre-Disciplinary Safeguards. Prior to imposition of disciplinary action the District shall give written notice to the employee. This written notice of disciplinary action shall be deemed sufficient if personally delivered or sent to the employee by certified mail, return receipt requested, at least five (5) calendar days prior to the date when the disciplinary action is proposed to be effected.
