Common use of Precaution and Prevention Clause in Contracts

Precaution and Prevention. Except as provided by Washington Administrative Code, all employees will take necessary action through the proper use of personal protective equipment provided and mandated by the agency to prevent the spread of communicable, environmental and infectious diseases. Employees who are or could potentially be exposed to the body fluids of others will have access at all times to disposable mouth coverings and gloves. In accordance with agency policy, employees who are exposed to bodily fluids will be released from duty and provided the opportunity to seek immediate medical care.
