Common use of Preconstruction Phase Clause in Contracts

Preconstruction Phase. 3.1. Provide detailed coordination of the assigned Projects utilizing the District- approved Program Manager’s procedures. CM to serve as the focal point of communication, transmitting information to the District/ and to the Project team on general aspects of the Project, including planning, scheduling, cost management, progress reporting, design review, dispute resolution, and documentation. Communications from the construction contractor(s) to the District/Program Manager and Project design team shall be through the Construction Manager. The Construction Manager shall receive simultaneous copies of all written communications from the District/Program Manager or the Project design team to the construction contractor(s). CM to utilize the PMIS to document issues, archive project documentation and all project specific information.
