Common use of Preliminary Schedule Clause in Contracts

Preliminary Schedule. Unless otherwise stated in Exhibit 1, within fifteen (15) days of Design-Builder’s receipt of Department’s Notice to Proceed, Design-Builder shall submit to Department, for its review and approval, a Preliminary Schedule in accordance with Exhibit 11.1 (Special Provision for Design-Build Schedules). The Preliminary Schedule shall be the basis for monitoring the Design-Builder’s performance of the Work until such time as a Baseline Schedule has been approved by Department in accordance with Section 11.1.2 below. Department reserves the right to withhold approval for all or part of Design-Builder’s Applications for Payment until such time Design-Builder furnishes an approved Preliminary Schedule.
