Overtime for employees working less than full-time hours shall be paid at time and one-half and shall be based on time worked in excess of their regularly scheduled shift. All other compensating time off shall be on a time and one-half basis. In calculating the normal work week, a paid holiday will be considered time worked, but time worked for which an overtime premium applies will not be included in the calculation. Compensating time off shall be computed and include travelling up to a maximum of one (1) hour. If compensating time off is taken it shall be arranged at a mutually convenient time of the employee and the Manager. The maximum amount of compensating time off which may be accumulated at any given time is the equivalent of five (5) work days. Once overtime bank reaches the maximum amount of hours, payroll will notify the employee’s manager who will discuss options with the employee to address the excess time. It is the intent of the foregoing that overtime premium will only be paid for time actually worked in excess of their regularly scheduled shift. The Employer shall not require an employee working overtime to take compensating time off during that pay period.
