Common use of Premium Payments Clause in Contracts

Premium Payments. 1. Initial payment for continuation cov- erage must be received within forty-five (45) days of election of coverage. 2. After initial premium payment, MCHCP bills on the last working day of the month. There is a thirty-one- (31-) day grace period for payment of regularly scheduled monthly premiums. 3. Premiums for continued coverage will be one hundred two percent (102%) of the total premium for the applicable coverage level. Once coverage is terminated under the COBRA provision, it cannot be reinstated.
