Outcome Include the following: 1) evaluation of project’s ability to meet goals and expected performance measures and provide explanation for why goals were not met, if applicable; 2) identify successful outcomes, areas for improvement, and quantifiable metrics (including the assigned metric in Exhibit A, if applicable) as a result of the project; and 3) final project photos, if an implementation construction project.
Safety Where an employee is prevented from working at the employee’s particular function as a result of unsafe conditions caused by the inclement weather, the employee may be transferred to other work in the employee’s classification on site, until the unsafe conditions are rectified. Where such alternative is not available and until the unsafe conditions are rectified, the employee shall remain on site. The employee shall be paid for such time without reduction of the employees’ inclement weather entitlement.
Fire Control Purchaser shall, both independ- ently and in cooperation with Forest Service, take all rea- sonable and practicable action to prevent and suppress fires resulting from Purchaser’s Operations and to sup- press any forest fire on Sale Area. Purchaser’s independ- ent initial fire suppression action on such fires shall be immediate and shall include the use of all necessary per- sonnel and equipment at Purchaser’s disposal on Sale Area or within the distance of Sale Area stated in A13. B7.31 Purchaser’s Reinforcement Obligations. Whenever an Operations Fire or Negligent Fire, whether on or off Sale Area, or any other forest fire on Sale Area, has not been suppressed by initial action and appreciable reinforcement strength is required, Forest Service may require further actions by Purchaser until such fire is con- trolled and mopped up to a point of safety. Such actions may include any or all of the following as necessary to fight such fire: B7.311 Suspend Operations. To suspend any or all of Purchaser’s Operations. B7.312 Personnel. To release for employ- ment by Forest Service any or all of Purchaser’s person- nel engaged in Purchaser’s Operations or timber process- ing within the distance of Sale Area stated in A13. Any organized crew so hired shall include Purchaser’s super- visor, if any. Personnel so employed shall be paid at For- est Service standard emergency fire fighting rates. B7.313 Equipment. To make available for Forest Service rental at fire fighting equipment rates common in the area or at prior agreed rates any or all of Purchaser’s equipment suitable for fire fighting and cur- rently engaged in Purchaser’s Operations within the dis- tance of Sale Area stated in A13. Equipment shall be op- erated only by personnel approved by Purchaser, if so requested by Purchaser.
Future Cooperation Each of the parties hereto agrees to cooperate at all times from and after the date hereof with respect to all of the matters described herein, and to execute such further assignments, releases, assumptions, amendments of the Agreement, notifications and other documents as may be reasonably requested for the purpose of giving effect to, or evidencing or giving notice of, the transactions contemplated by this Agreement.
Accidents If a death, serious personal injury or substantial property damage occurs in connection with CONTRACTOR’s performance of this Agreement, CONTRACTOR shall immediately notify Mendocino County Risk Manager's Office by telephone. CONTRACTOR shall promptly submit to COUNTY a written report, in such form as may be required by COUNTY of all accidents which occur in connection with this Agreement. This report must include the following information: (1) name and address of the injured or deceased person(s); (2) name and address of CONTRACTOR's sub-contractor, if any; (3) name and address of CONTRACTOR's liability insurance carrier; and (4) a detailed description of the accident and whether any of COUNTY's equipment, tools, material, or staff were involved.
Sustainability (12 /18) Pursuant to the City’s Sustainable City Principles, which direct City Bureaus to pursue long-term social equity, environmental quality, and economic vitality through innovative and traditional mechanisms, Contractor is encouraged to incorporate these Principles into its scope of work with the City wherever possible. Therefore, in accordance with the Principles and the City's Sustainable Procurement Policy, it is the policy of the City of Portland to encourage the use of Products or Services that help to minimize the human health and environmental impacts of City operations. Contractor is encouraged to incorporate environmentally preferable Products or Services into its work performance wherever possible. "Environmentally preferable" means Products or Services that have a lesser or reduced effect on human health and the environment when compared with competing products or services that serve the same purpose. This comparison may consider raw materials acquisition, production, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, reuse, operation, maintenance, or disposal of the Product or Service.
Strategy As an organization without operational services (fuel, maintenance, etc.), and in consideration that the majority of potential issues come from boat maintenance whereby the boats are personal property, the predominant strategy will be the minimization of on-site waste. With this approach, the organization will have minimal potential impact on the environment and reduce regulatory risk. To accomplish this, requirements will be established by policy, periodic communications shall occur, and audits will be utilized to provide feedback for improvement.
Grievability Denial of a petition for reinstatement is grievable. The grievance may not be based on information other than that shared with the Employer at the time of the petition for reinstatement.
PROCEDURAL HISTORY On May 16, 2008, pursuant to 83 Illinois Administrative Code Part 763, Illinois Bell Telephone Company (“AT&T Illinois”) and Vertex Broadband, Corp. d/b/a AthenaTel d/b/a Reason to Switch d/b/a TownLink Communications d/b/a INT Connections (“Vertex”), filed a joint petition for approval of the 1st Amendment to the Interconnection Agreement dated May 6, 2008 under Section 252 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 (47 U.S.C. § 252 et seq.) (“the Act”). The 1st Amendment to the Agreement was submitted with the petition. A statement in support of the petition was filed along with verifications sworn to by Xxxxx X. Xxxx, Xx. on behalf of AT&T Illinois and by Xxxxxx X. Xxxxx on behalf of Vertex, stating that the facts contained in the petition are true and correct to the best of their knowledge, information, and belief. Pursuant to notice as required by law and the rules and regulations of the Commission, this matter came on for hearing by the duly authorized Administrative Law Judge of the Commission at its offices in Chicago, Illinois, on June 9, 2008. Staff previously filed the Verified Statement of A. Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxxx of the Commission’s Telecommunications Division on June 6, 2008. At the hearing on June 9, 2008, AT&T Illinois, Vertex and Staff appeared and agreed that there were no unresolved issues in this proceeding. Subsequently Xx. Xxxxxxx’x Verified Statement was admitted into evidence and the record was marked “Heard and Taken.”
