President of the Board. The President shall preside at all meetings of the Board and shall perform and execute such duties and powers as may be conferred upon or assigned to him or her by the Board or these Bylaws, but who shall not by reason of performing and executing these duties and powers be deemed an employee of the Corporation. President of the Board. The President shall within the next ten (10) days arrange a meeting of the Board for purposes of a hearing with the grievant(s). Within ten (10) days of this meeting the Board shall furnish a written disposition of the Grievance to the grievant(s). Level V - If the grievant(s) is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance by the Board, the grievant(s) may within five (5) days submit Grievance Report Form Level V to the Superintendent. Within five (5) days of submission to the Superintendent, the xxxxxxxx(s) or his/her designated representative shall petition the American Arbitration Association (AAA) to provide both parties with a list of seven (7) names from which an arbitrator will be selected by the alternate strike method. Either party may request a second list. Once the arbitrator has been selected, he/she shall conduct a hearing on the grievance in accordance with the rules and regulations of the AAA. The arbitrator shall hold the necessary hearing promptly and issue the decision within such time as may be agreed upon. The decision shall be in writing; a copy sent to all parties present at the hearing. The decision of the arbitrator shall be binding except that the arbitrator shall have no power or authority to add to, subtract from, or in any manner alter the specific terms of this Agreement or to make any award requiring the commission of any act prohibited by law or make any award that itself is contrary to law or violates any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The costs for arbitration shall be shared equally by the Association and the Board.

  • President Unless the Trustees otherwise provide, the President shall preside at all meetings of the shareholders and of the Trustees. Unless the Trustees otherwise provide, the President shall be the chief executive officer.

  • The Board 6.1 The appointment, dismissal and conduct of the Board shall be regulated in accordance with this agreement and the Articles.

  • Chairman An individual (who need not be a Registered Warrantholder) designated in writing by the Warrant Agent shall be chairman of the meeting and if no individual is so designated, or if the individual so designated is not present within fifteen minutes from the time fixed for the holding of the meeting, the Registered Warrantholders present in person or by proxy shall choose an individual present to be chairman.

  • Leave, President, O.N.A Upon application in writing by the Association on behalf of the nurse to the Hospital, a leave of absence shall be granted to such nurse elected to the office of President of the Ontario Nurses' Association for a period of up to three (3) consecutive two (2) year terms. Notwithstanding Article 10.04, there shall be no loss of service or seniority for a nurse during such leave of absence. During such leave of absence, the nurse's salary and applicable benefits shall be maintained by the Hospital and the Association agrees to reimburse the Hospital in the amount of the full cost of such salary and applicable benefits. It is understood, however, that during such leave the nurse shall be deemed to be an employee of the Ontario Nurses' Association. The nurse agrees to notify the Hospital of her or his intention to return to work at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of such return.

  • College President The "College President" is the Chief Executive Officer of the College.

  • Vice President In the absence of the President or in the event of the President’s inability to act, the Vice President, if any (or in the event there be more than one Vice President, the Vice Presidents in the order designated by the Directors, or in the absence of any designation, then in the order of their election), shall perform the duties of the President, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the President. The Vice Presidents, if any, shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board may from time to time prescribe.

  • Leave, Board of Directors A nurse who is elected to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Nurses' Association, other than to the office of President, shall be granted upon request such leave(s) of absence as she or he may require to fulfill the duties of the position. Reasonable notice - sufficient to adequately allow the Hospital to minimize disruption of its services shall be given to the Hospital for such leave of absence. Notwithstanding Article 10.04, there shall be no loss of seniority or service for a nurse during such leave of absence. Leave of absence under this provision shall be in addition to the Union leave provided in Article 11.02
