Presidential and Board Approval Sample Clauses

Presidential and Board Approval. The Committee will present its slate to the President for approval or disapproval. Ordinarily, the President will approve the slate unless he believes a substantial error has been made or there is a substantial dispute among the members. The President then will submit the slate to the Board for approval or rejection. If the Board rejects the slate, the President will attempt to determine the reason for disagreement and then substitute names, at his discretion, until the Board approves the slate by simple majority vote. This activity must be completed at least one week prior to the first scheduled practice.
