Common use of Presidential Release Time Clause in Contracts

Presidential Release Time. ‌ In order to better serve members, the SRSEA President shall receive forty (40) hours of release time per fiscal year to complete Association business. SRSEA shall reimburse the Appointing Authority for the release time at the teacher’s hourly rate of pay. This leave shall not be unreasonably denied with at least three (3) days’ notice to the Appointing Authority and shall not be taken in blocks of more than eight (8) hours unless approved by the Appointing Authority.
