Common use of Preventive Medical Treatment Clause in Contracts

Preventive Medical Treatment. Notwithstanding Section 4.126(d) of the LAAC, twenty-four (24) hours of one hundred percent (100%) sick leave may be used to secure preventive medical treatment for the employee and for the members of the employee's immediate family. Effective the start of the payperiod following the date of Council approval of this MOU, the total number of hours of 100% sick leave that may be used to secure preventive medical treatment shall increase to thirty-two (32) hours.
