PROBATIONARY EMPLOYEE ABSENCE. If a probationary employee is granted a leave of absence or is absent in excess of five workdays (40 hours) during his probationary period, the effective date of acquiring seniority shall be postponed by the period of time the employee has been absent or on leave.
