Common use of Probationary Service of Transferred Teachers Clause in Contracts

Probationary Service of Transferred Teachers. The voluntary transfer or reassignment of any tenured member represented by the Association to a position outside of their existing tenure area may require a probationary period of fewer than three (3) years in the new position if warranted in the judgment of the Board and consistent with Education Law.
