Procedure upon Return from Maternity and/or Parental. Adoption Leave‌ (a) When an employee decides to return to work, after maternity and/or parental/adoption leave, they will provide the Employer with at least 30 days' notice. On return from maternity leave, the employee will be placed in their former position. If the former position no longer exists, the employee will be placed in a position of equal rank and value at the same rate of pay. (b) Where an employee chooses to return to work earlier than the date their maternity and/or parental/adoption leave is scheduled to end, the employee will provide the Employer with a minimum of 60 days' notice of their new return to work date.
