Professional Business Days Authorized by the Board. Any day an employee is engaged in activity or business under the direction of the Board of Education shall not be regarded as absence even though such activity might require the employee's presence in a place other than that of his regular assignment and shall receive full pay in classification. All employees will also be paid for any meetings and/or conventions that are called by the school administrator or supervisor in charge. All aides shall receive professional business days to attend training and testing required by the federal No Child Left Behind Act.
