Common use of Professional Development Services Clause in Contracts

Professional Development Services. i. During the course of the academic year, Teach For America shall provide various professional development services and activities for participating Teachers. These services may include periodic classroom observations by regional program staff, videotaping of instruction with review of instructional technique, co-investigative discussions to facilitate Teacher capacity for self-reflection and evaluation of instructional practice using student achievement data, and content area/grade- level workshops facilitated by veteran teachers. In addition, Teach For America shall facilitate Teacher access to an assortment of resources including sample lesson plans, assessments, grade tracking systems, and content area/grade level instructional materials. These professional development services will be available to all Teachers during their first two years in the classroom.
