Hiring Commitment i. Teach For America will use its reasonable efforts to provide the number of teacher candidates for employment with School District (“Teachers”) set forth in Section III.B (the “Agreed Number), but Teach For America cannot and does not guarantee its ability to provide the full Agreed Number of Teachers to School District and the failure of Teach For America to provide the full Agreed Number of Teachers for any academic year shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement for any purpose whatsoever. ii. Whether or not Teach For America is able to provide the full Agreed Number, School District shall consider for hire each Teacher provided by Teach For America who meets the district eligibility requirements.
iii. Any Teach For America Teacher hired by the School District shall be hired as the classroom teacher of record and not for substitute, auxiliary, resource or teacher’s aide positions.
iv. Teach For America Teachers will be considered for hire for vacancies across the full range of grades and subject matters and not restricted or limited to so-called “critical” or “shortage” subjects or grade level vacancies.
v. School District and Teach For America will collaborate in good faith to identify individual schools within School District appropriate for Teachers. In order to be considered an appropriate school (a “Partner School”) for placement of a Teacher, the school’s student population must be considered high poverty relative to the student population elsewhere in the district or that fifty percent or more of the school’s student population receives free or reduced lunch. To the extent reasonably practicable, School District will employ two or more Teachers per individual Partner School.
Hiring Commitment. Buyer will make offers of employment to at least eighty percent (80%) of the Scheduled Employees.
Hiring Commitment i. Teach For America will use its reasonable efforts to provide teacher candidates for employment with Seattle Public Schools as set forth in Appendix A.
ii. Seattle Public Schools will evaluate each teacher candidate’s application on the same basis as all other applicants during the open hiring phase (Phase III hiring), if any, assuming Teach For America teacher candidates meet the district eligibility requirements set forth in Appendix B. iii. Any Teach For America candidates hired by Seattle Public Schools will be hired as the classroom teacher of record and not for substitute, auxiliary, resource or teacher’s aide positions.
iv. Teacher candidates will be hired for vacancies across the full range of grades and subject matters and not restricted or limited to so-called “critical” or “shortage” subjects or grade level vacancies.

Hiring Commitment. The Company will continue with its hiring commitment in Letter of Agreement 19-02. That agreement noted that going forward, the Company will not be required to hire more than 150 Apprentice Linemen in any year, unless the ratios so permit, and the Company determines in its sole judgment that the operational needs would be suited by hiring more than 150 Apprentice Linemen. The parties agree to this commitment through the year 2020. The Company agrees to hire the maximum number of Apprentice Linemen that it can hire without exceeding the ratio below:
Hiring Commitment. The OPERATOR commits to make good faith efforts to hire qualified Holyoke residents whenever feasible for any employment opportunities that become available. Implementation of the Commitment shall include collaborating with MassHire Holyoke Career Center, Holyoke Works, Holyoke Community College, and other available resources within the City of Holyoke to train and/or recruit residents of Holyoke for all employment opportunities. Methods to recruit employees may include collaboration with local labor unions and other recruitment efforts, such as a neighborhood job fair, and posting of notices of opening at strategic locations, including notifying local community organizations about job opportunities. Upon commencing operations and within thirty (30) days of the start of the calendar year for each year this Agreement remains in effect, the OPERATOR will provide the CITY with an annual report for each previous year containing the following information: (1) the OPERATOR’s employment level;(2) the number of Holyoke residents employed, and;

ii. Whether or not Teach For America is able to provide the Agreed Number of Teachers, EAA will use its best efforts to hire every Teacher provided by Teach For America, who meets the district eligibility requirements set forth in Appendix B.
iii. If hired, EAA will hire each such Teacher as the classroom teacher of record and not for substitute, auxiliary, resource or teacher’s aide positions.
iv. EAA will use its best efforts to hire Teachers for vacancies across the full range of grades and subject matters.
v. EAA will employ Teachers under this Agreement for a minimum of two (2) years.
Hiring Commitment i. Teach For America will use its reasonable efforts to provide between 50 and 100 new teacher candidates for employment with School District (“Teachers”), but Teach For America cannot and does not guarantee its ability to provide a minimum number (i.e. 50) of Teachers to School District and the failure of Teach For America to provide at least fifty (50) Teachers for any academic year shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement for any purpose whatsoever.
ii. Whether or not Teach For America provides less than 50 new teacher candidates, School District shall consider for hire each Teacher provided by Teach For America who meets the School District eligibility requirements.
iii. Absent the exception set forth below, any Teach For America Teacher hired by the School District shall be hired as the classroom teacher of record and not as a substitute, auxiliary, resource, or teacher’s aide.
iv. Teach For America Teachers will b e considered for hire by School District for vacancies in high-needs areas (early childhood, elementary, English, math, science, and special education).
v. School District and Teach For America shall collaborate in good faith to identify individual schools within School District appropriate for Teachers. In order to be considered an appropriate school (a “Partner School”) for placement of a Teacher, the school’s student population must be considered high poverty relative to the student population elsewhere in the School District or that fifty percent (50%) or more of the school’s student population receives free or reduced lunch. To the extent reasonably practicable, School District will employ two (2) or more teachers per individual Partner School.
