Hiring Commitment i. Teach For America will use its reasonable efforts to provide the number of teacher candidates for employment with School District (“Teachers”) set forth in Appendix A (the “Agreed Number”), attached and hereby incorporated hereto, but Teach For America cannot and does not guarantee its ability to provide the full Agreed Number of Teachers to School District and the failure of Teach For America to provide the full Agreed Number of Teachers for any academic year shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement for any purpose whatsoever.
ii. Whether or not Teach For America is able to provide the full Agreed Number, School District shall consider for hire each Teacher provided by Teach For America who meets the district eligibility requirements. NYA 611599.1A
iii. Any Teach For America Teacher hired by the School District shall be hired as the classroom teacher of record and not for substitute, auxiliary, resource or teacher’s aide positions.
iv. Teach For America Teachers will be hired by School District for vacancies across the full range of grades and subject matters and not restricted or limited to so-called “critical” or “shortage” subjects or grade level vacancies.
v. School District and Teach For America shall collaborate in good faith to identify individual schools within School District appropriate for Teachers. In order to be considered an appropriate school (a “Partner School”) for placement of a Teacher, (i) the school’s student population must be considered high poverty relative to the student population elsewhere in the district or that fifty percent or more of the school’s student population receives free or reduced lunch and (ii) the school must have sufficient vacancies to enable the hiring/placement of at least two Teachers in the same academic year. To the extent reasonably practicable, School District will employ two or more Teachers per individual Partner School.
Hiring Commitment. Buyer will make offers of employment to at least eighty percent (80%) of the Scheduled Employees.
Hiring Commitment i. Teach For America will use its reasonable efforts to provide teacher candidates for employment with Seattle Public Schools as set forth in Appendix A.
ii. Seattle Public Schools will evaluate each teacher candidate’s application on the same basis as all other applicants during the open hiring phase (Phase III hiring), if any, assuming Teach For America teacher candidates meet the district eligibility requirements set forth in Appendix B. iii. Any Teach For America candidates hired by Seattle Public Schools will be hired as the classroom teacher of record and not for substitute, auxiliary, resource or teacher’s aide positions.
iv. Teacher candidates will be hired for vacancies across the full range of grades and subject matters and not restricted or limited to so-called “critical” or “shortage” subjects or grade level vacancies.

Whether or not Teach For America is able to provide the full Agreed Number, School District shall consider for hire each Teacher provided by Teach For America who meets the district eligibility requirements, including, but not limited to, completing a School District application, passing a pre-employment drug test, providing documentation verifying authorization to work in the U.S., submitting official proof of degree confirmed with an official transcript, obtaining an Oklahoma teaching license or certification, and including passing of all required content and pedagogical standardized tests and required criminal record background checks.
iii. Any Teach For America Teacher hired by the School District shall be hired as the classroom teacher of record and not for substitute, auxiliary, resource or teacher’s aide positions.
iv. Teach For America Teachers will be hired by School District for vacancies across the full range of grades and subject matters and not restricted or limited to NYA 611599.1A so-called “critical” or “shortage” subjects or grade level vacancies.
v. School District and Teach For America shall collaborate in good faith to identify individual schools within School District appropriate for Teachers. In order to be considered an appropriate school (a “Partner School”) for placement of a Teacher, (i) the school’s student population must be considered high poverty relative to the student population elsewhere in the district or that sixty percent or more of the school’s student population receives free or reduced lunch and (ii) the school must have sufficient vacancies to enable the hiring/placement of at least two Teachers in the same academic year.. To the extent reasonably practicable, School District will employ two or more Teachers per individual Partner School.
Hiring Commitment. The Company will continue with its hiring commitment in Letters of Agreement 17-21 and R1-17-40. However, going forward, the Company will not be required to hire more than 150 Apprentice Linemen in any year, unless the ratios so permit, and the Company determines in its sole judgment that the operational needs would be suited by hiring more than 150 Apprentice Linemen. The parties agree to this commitment through the year 2020. The Company agrees to hire the maximum number of Apprentice Linemen that it can hire without exceeding the ratio below:
Hiring Commitment. The OPERATOR commits to make good faith efforts to hire qualified Holyoke residents whenever feasible for any employment opportunities that become available. Implementation of the Commitment shall include collaborating with MassHire Holyoke Career Center, Holyoke Works, Holyoke Community College, and other available resources within the City of Holyoke to train and/or recruit residents of Holyoke for all employment opportunities. Methods to recruit employees may include collaboration with local labor unions and other recruitment efforts, such as a neighborhood job fair, and posting of notices of opening at strategic locations, including notifying local community organizations about job opportunities. Upon commencing operations and within thirty (30) days of the start of the calendar year for each year this Agreement remains in effect, the OPERATOR will provide the CITY with an annual report for each previous year containing the following information: (1) the OPERATOR’s employment level;(2) the number of Holyoke residents employed, and;

Hiring Commitment. This agreement also implements a different ratio for Title 200 locations listed under Section B below given the significant staffing increases and the types of work found at those locations.

Teach For America will use its reasonable efforts to provide the number of teacher candidates for employment with EAA (“Teachers”) set forth in Appendix A (the “Agreed Number”), but Teach For America cannot and does not guarantee its ability to provide the full Agreed Number of Teachers to EAA and the failure of Teach For America to provide the full Agreed Number for any academic year shall not constitute a breach of this Service Order for any purpose whatsoever.
ii. Whether or not Teach For America is able to provide the Agreed Number of Teachers, EAA will use its best efforts to hire every Teacher provided by Teach For America, who meets the district eligibility requirements set forth in Appendix B.
iii. If hired, EAA will hire each such Teacher as the classroom teacher of record and not for substitute, auxiliary, resource or teacher’s aide positions.
iv. EAA will use its best efforts to hire Teachers for vacancies across the full range of grades and subject matters.
v. EAA will employ Teachers under this Agreement for a minimum of two (2) years.
Hiring Commitment i. Failure to provide the Agreed Number of Teachers for any academic year shall not constitute a breach of this agreement. In the event that Teach For America supplies the School District with any Teachers above the Agreed Number, School District agrees to pay the fee for each additional Teacher. Each cohort of Teachers employed pursuant to this clause is in addition to the Teachers from prior cohorts.
a. 1-3 teachers for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic school years. 1-3 teachers for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic school years. For additional detail on the Agreed Number, please see Exhibit A.
ii. Whether or not Teach For America is able to provide the full Agreed Number, School District shall consider for hire each Teacher provided by Teach For America who meets the district eligibility requirements.
iii. Any Teach For America Teacher hired by the School District shall be hired as the classroom teacher of record and not for substitute, auxiliary, resource or teacher’s aide positions.
iv. Teach For America Teachers will be hired by School District for vacancies across the full range of grades and subject matters and not restricted or limited to so-called “critical” or “shortage” subjects or grade level vacancies. School District agrees that Teach For America Teachers will not provide any religious instruction.
v. To the extent reasonably practicable, School District will employ two or more Teachers per individual Partner School.
vi. School District and Teach For America shall collaborate in good faith to identify individual schools within School District appropriate for Teachers. School District agrees that it will not place Teach For America Teachers at any for-profit schools within its district.
