Common use of Proficiency in Spoken English Clause in Contracts

Proficiency in Spoken English. Pursuant to Section 1012.93, Florida Statutes, faculty members involved in classroom instruction must be proficient in the oral use of English. Such oral use proficiency may be demonstrated by achievement of a satisfactory grade on the “Test of Spoken English” of the Educational Testing Service or a similar test approved by the State Board of Education.
