PROGRAM PHASE OUT. To the extent that such matters are within the direct control of CCSF, an incumbent resident covered by this MOU shall not be prevented from completing his/her current residency year because of a decision by the City to reduce the number of residents authorized by the Salary Ordinance in the program or because a program is being “phased out” at the request of the City. The Hospital will give incumbent residents and the Union six (6) months before it phases out a residency program or before it eliminates positions in that program.
PROGRAM PHASE OUT. In the event the Employer decides to phase out an entire program due to a re- evaluation of priorities, the Employer will phase out such programs over a three (3) month period to allow for a minimum disruption in employment and program needs.
